About P.F. Chang's
P.F. Chang’s at 3445 Grand Ave, Chino Hills, CA 91709, represents a distinctive dining destination that brings together authentic Asian culinary traditions with contemporary American hospitality. This family-friendly establishment is part of a globally recognized restaurant chain that has revolutionized how casual diners experience Asian cuisine across the United States and beyond[1][4].
The P.F. Chang’s concept emerged from a unique partnership between Philip Chiang and Paul Fleming, who opened their first location in Scottsdale, Arizona, in July 1993[4][5]. Philip Chiang, whose mother Cecilia Chiang pioneered authentic Chinese cuisine in America by opening the legendary Mandarin Restaurant in San Francisco during the early 1960s, brought generations of culinary expertise to the venture[3]. This heritage directly influences the menu offerings at the Chino Hills location, where diners can experience dishes that honor traditional Asian recipes while embracing modern accessibility and presentation[3].
What distinguishes P.F. Chang’s from conventional Asian restaurants is its unwavering commitment to fresh, made-to-order preparation. Every dish served at the Chino Hills restaurant is prepared from scratch daily in the kitchen, utilizing traditional wok cooking methods that remain central to the guest experience[4][5]. This dedication to quality extends beyond the main courses—the establishment’s iconic dim sum, wontons, and egg rolls are hand-rolled daily, and all juices and cocktail mixers, including the signature ginger beer, are crafted fresh in-house each day[3][5].
The Chino Hills location operates as a comprehensive Asian dining destination, offering multiple service formats to accommodate diverse customer preferences. Whether guests prefer to dine in the striking, thoughtfully designed space, utilize the takeout service, or opt for delivery, P.F. Chang’s provides flexibility for modern lifestyles. The restaurant’s diverse subtypes—encompassing Chinese, Asian, dim sum, and sushi offerings—reflect the breadth of the menu that spans across multiple Asian cuisines, including Japanese, Korean, Thai, and beyond[4].
P.F. Chang’s has earned recognition as a pioneer in several culinary areas. The chain was the first national restaurant group to introduce sriracha to mainstream American dining in 2000, and today the organization uses over 100,000 bottles of this iconic hot sauce annually[3][5]. Additionally, P.F. Chang’s helped popularize lettuce wraps in the United States and is credited with being among the first chain restaurants to serve them, with this dish now considered one of the establishment’s most beloved signature items[3].
The restaurant’s commitment to inclusivity extends to dietary accommodations. P.F. Chang’s offers comprehensive options for vegan and vegetarian diets, and the chain debuted its gluten-free menu as early as 2003, demonstrating long-standing dedication to serving guests with various dietary needs and allergies[3]. This forward-thinking approach reflects the core philosophy that guides every aspect of the operation: food should be made with heart and served with honor[5].
At the Chino Hills location, guests can reach the restaurant at +1 909-590-8250 to make reservations, inquire about menu items, or place orders. The establishment represents the continuation of a legacy that began over three decades ago, combining authentic Asian culinary traditions with American-style service excellence. Today, P.F. Chang’s operates over 300 locations across more than 20 countries worldwide, yet each location, including the Chino Hills venue, maintains the same dedication to quality, freshness, and culinary celebration that defined the original vision[1][4].

We visited last Tuesday night and sat in the bar. Our bartender Lupita was theeeeee best!!! Her service was incredible and she is super knowledgeable about the food and drink menus. She told me to try the lychee martini and it was delicious. She has the best personality and was so fun to chat with. Everyone needs to go to the bar here and visit her! ☆ 彡

In general, I love going to PF Chang's. I've been to quite a few, and with the exception of one... Maybe two, they've all been really good. This one was no different. First time eating at this location. The staff were very friendly as we walked in. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side compared to other PF Chang's, but the decor and atmosphere were perfect. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. For appetizers we had lettuce wraps (everyone pictures those) and dynamite shrimp... So good! For main dishes we ordered the mandolin beef (my favorite main dish), broccoli beef, kung pow chicken and chow mein. Everything was yummy. I will definitely be going back to this location.

What a nice lunch deal, offered by P.F. Chang’s. I stopped in and was immediately drawn to the menu item advertising lunch specials. I’m always leery of lunch specials because the portions are reduced to the point where the value just isn’t there. This was not the case. It was the perfect amount of food; expect to pay around $15. This review is mostly about this menu item and not so much about the service or atmosphere, for most of us know what we’re going to get when we visit a P.F. Chang’s. I wanted to share a few photos of my Kung Pao Chicken over rice. Kung Pao Chicken originates from Sichuan province in China. It features a delightful combination of tender chicken, crunchy peanuts, and dried red chili peppers, all coated in a sweet, sour, and spicy sauce. This is always my favorite because I like to eat the red chili peppers for extra heat. I will say that on the day I was served, there were only two parties of us in that large restaurant because it was nearly 2 PM. I would’ve liked the server to have brought me a refill of water. There was not much attention to be being there; rather, my server was setting up and prepping for the evening rush. All in all, my food was delici

My waiter was Kylan and he made sure to check in on me and my kids. They were even asking for him in the car ride home. He knew the drink menu like the back of his hand and gave us great recommendations. Will be coming back.

I noticed a lot of dirty tables on areival and on departure. Cleanliness not a priority here. Initial dishes the soup and lobster dumplings in miso were spectacular. The side of cauliflower snd beef were lackluster. The butter cake for dessert was super. The service was ok waiter seemed a bit overwhelmed.
